Pantelie Nicolcescu is an Associate Professor and primary physician specializing in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care, with extensive academic and clinical experience in Romania. He has been affiliated since 2011 with the Clinical Emergency Hospital Sibiu as an Associate Professor and Anesthesiology–Intensive Care Primary Physician, and since 2007 with “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galați as an Associate Professor teaching Anesthesia and Intensive Care, Psychology, Bioethics, and Medical Deontology. He completed his medical education in General Medicine at the Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca (1986–1991), followed by residency training in Anesthesiology and Intensive Care at the same institution (1993–1998). His professional activities include invited international scholar positions in Anesthesia and Intensive Care at the Cleveland Clinic, USA. His research interests span anesthesiology, intensive care medicine, medical education, bioethics, perioperative management, trauma care, sepsis, and psychological aspects of medical training, contributing substantially to journals and academic books.
